One thing I am always trying to do in my own faith journey is to simply follow Jesus closer each day.

That means I don't have to be perfect, I just need to put my best foot forward and do a little bit better than the day before. I have learned over the years that I have the most success when I stay close to God's word and learn from other followers of Jesus.

On the Follow Jesus Closer podcast I read the bible weekly, give real life application, and try to encourage other followers of Jesus. I also do interviews with other Christ followers to see how God has worked in their lives and learn from their testimonies.

Music has always been a way that I expressed myself and experienced the world around me. Before I ever picked up a guitar and started playing with other people, I was humming along to the radio and singing in the shower like everyone else.

My songs don't fit into any one box. I sing about life, love, God, hardship and friendship.
